Please help !! Details about co-sponser to apply for B2 (VISIT VISA)

I am a green card holder and I would like to bring my husband on visit visa to US.As I am not working at present,i would like to keep a co sponser to show all the documents needed to meet the expenses of him here.Is it ok if the co sponser is my uncle (father's brother) ? I am planning to bring my husband here for our babys 1st birthday..that is oct last.So when should I start applying for it? I would also like to know about the documents ,co sponser should provide.

Being the spouse of a GC holder, your husband's first challenge will be to overcome 214(b). Who pays for his trip is secondary by a distance.
 
My husband has signed a contract for his job in india,so he cant leave it anyways without completing it,So is it possible to overcome 214(b) with this proof from the company?
 
Having a job will help in attempting to overcome 214(b). However the consul may still give more weight to the fact that the applicant has a spouse in the US. I wish him good luck. Keep us posted!!!
 
Thanx for the reply..anyway i am planning to apply and will keep posting abt wt happens.. i have also filed for his green card...so it will also be a big problem,in getting visit visa..even if he shows job? is there any other way...to prove that he will return if job contract doesnt work?? desperately needs help...
 
His only option is to try his luck out. A B-2 refusal is very likely given his scenarion, but still not a guarantee. Luck favours the brave :)
 
i have one more doubt please..in affidavit of support 134 from,should i put my uncle's name as he is the joint sponser...??? is it possible for me to stand as sponser even if i dont have a job...??? urgent...please...:confused:
