Please help and Guide (Security check)?

I have apply for renew my H1B visa in April 2004 and consulate ask for fingerprint and Security check/
Is security check is Name check? or Security Advisory Opinion??

Is anyone help me to advice how long I have to wait to get my name check clear?

I am waiting since six month, what will happen with my H1B visa? Is my employer cancle my visa?

My family (wife and sons) is in USA, Is there any problem with there status my H1B is Valid till 2007.

H1b

H1B depends upon ur employer. If the employer doesn't terminate ur job, you have still a valid status. This is true about ur family.

H1B can also be a part time worker.

Security check can last many many months and you are not alone in this unfortunate situation.

I understand from you mail that it was a renewal.So after staying in US you went to India and while getting your Visa renewal done you are facing this problem ?
Which Consulate did u apply at ?
Is this same as 221g ?
