My sister has an issue....
She is about to marry in August. The problem she has is that the fiance has now only the GC (permanent residency)...and will go for oath (citizenship) in January 2008. So she doesn't know if they marry when she can file for residency. They both from france and the guy is already resident and will be soon naturalized.
So it's a problem if they file in July ?
or they have to wait after January 2008?
