I am ashamed to add this discussion, but will put out for your kind remarks and advise.
I was arrested once back in 13 years ago for a small, minor misdemeanor charge. I still feel that I was a victim there, not intended to commit any foul-play, but somehow the I got prosecuted due to lack of knowledge in English and the judicial process at that time. I was charged a fine for the misdemeanor, which I paid. A year later, I paid court fees to expunge the record to remove from the system. I even called the court (Small municipal court in Ohio) to check the status and they do not have any records in their system now.
I will apply for my I-485 next week (EB-3), and wondering the impact of the Green card process. What would also be impact on Finger Printing with FBI? Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
