hi,
i applied for my husband too and he got approved and his application with nyc.
I think your marriage certificate need to be documented from your country civil registry. they asked for this paper b/c marriage certificate was not enough.

hope this will help
good luck

Looking good! They do prefer financial documents so if you have additional joint financial documents then pile it on.

Cheers.

one more question.
where should i send it? i mean i resides in denver so do i have to send it somewhere in denver or straight to some service centre?

thanks for the reply
one more thing do i have to send a copy of affidavits or send the original affidavits? because on intructions just " affidavits sworn.." is written.

I think you should always send a copy of any documents and bring the original during interview unless it's specifically requested to be original.

yes it is what i also think but there is written that affidavits of party sworing, no where is written that send the copy of affidavits.

so i am really confused about sending original or copy of affidavits specially.

sorry for being so confused...
