I got RFE on my I 485 dont know what is that for. My I 140 got approved last Nov.

I am trying to go home in couple days and return using Advance Parole. will this be a problem.

And do u guys know anything about I 485 RFE ?

npanila, When did you get your RFE? What is RFE about? It is probably not save to go home while in RFE. If you send all the necessay docs to INS, It takes few days to get your approve.

bishesh is correct. It's very usual that you get a RFE. No need to worry.

More over you nearly get 90 days to respond your RFE. So you should be fine.
 
I dont know the details about RFE I just got email yesterday, for my spouse no change yet. I am leaving tomorrow though.
What could be the RFE about do u guys know. As u guys are saying it is not safe to go now ?

Employ. verification
Birth Certificate
Pay slip
I94
H1B copies

But it's really hard to assume what it could be on your case...
If you have a valid H1B visa, you could take a risk now and travel...then you could take care your RFE while you're out of the country...

If you don't have a valid H1B, consult your Attorney and make sure he is aware of your travel, act upon his/her advice.
