Please answer (newbie question)

I just graduated last year and got my bachelor degree and
I'm using opt (practical training visa) now and my company want to sponsor me H1B. I heard that the H1B quota for this year is met already. My question is : is it still possible for my company to sponsor me H1B even though the quota already met? in other word is there any way to still work even though my opt is expired ? and also How about next year quota? can my company filed application for next year? if yes how does it work?

Unless your employer is non profit organization which is exempt from quota, you have no way to get H1B this year. You need to wait for the next april to file petition and need to wait for Oct 2007 to start working on H1B status.
