Please advise...

Here is my situation. I am a Feb 2002 filer(02-15-02). Completed FP2 on May 13th. Replied to RFE within a week and site updated saying RFE received on March 3rd 2004. I would like to know what's holding our cases. Which of the following would help me.

1. Send email to Mr. Khatri and ombudsman office.
2. Contact congressman or senator or both at the same time.
3. Go to cherry hill local office this week to find out what is the status of my case and based on that proceed further such as email to Mr. Khatri or senator/congreeman route.

I have already sent a fax to name check dept. on July 1st and haven't heard anything. Should I expect a transfer to Newark as it is taking long time. I have been with the same company ever since starting this whole procedure right from LC. Please share your thoughts.

Expedite request

I read in this forum that one of the criteria to be eligible for a expedite request is error from INS side that caused delay. I just remembered this about my RFE... Last August, my case status changed from FP1 to RFE issued message. While my lawyer and I were waiting for the RFE notice, 2 weeks later again my status changed to RFE response received on Aug 18th bla bla... This was surprising as neither my lawyer nor myself received any RFE notice and we did not respond to any. How come the status changed and what type of information they received. We were so confused. My lawyer wrote a letter to INS and as usual no reply. Once I initiated a staus inquiry and no response. After that I gave up and just waited. This year on
Feb 25th RFE was generated and this time we received the letter and guess what it said... It seems their electronic record indicates that they issued an RFE request on Aug 4th 2003 and we (myself/lawyer) responded to INS RFE request But unfortunately they have misplaced my RFE response papers. Apologised for inconvenience bla bla. Is it possible to use this for requesting expedite service. Can I indicate this to Mr. Khatri as well? Will this be in favor for me?
