Hi all,

My I-140 is pending since May 2002 and 485 since Sept 2002.
If I change the company, Can they withdraw my I-140 now?
If they don’t and if our current attorney is ready to handle my case, how much risk is involved for me?
Is it advisable to do that? Or better wait for 1 more year. My current project is till end of this year. But got a very good offer from other.

Please advise.

I140 can be withdrawn before approval. However an approved 140 can not be withdrawn after 6 mo. of pending 485.

In my opinion, you should wait till your 140 is approved AND you have completed 180 days on your 485, before you change jobs.
