Please advise!! URGENT

Hi,
I plan to visit India in Dec and return on H1B after getting it stamped there.My spouse is also on H1B converted from H4-H1 and also plans to getting it stamped in India. My I-485 is in process, I have also received AP, EAD, and completed my/spouse FP.I/spouse would like to use our respective H1Bs instead of our APs.

My question,
1. what do I/spouse fill up in D-156 form for "Has anyone ever filed an immigration petition on your behalf?"
2. Does Green card processing qualify as Immigration petition? Maybe a stupid question, but would like to clarify.

Please reply, I need to get this information before I leave to India.

Yeah

GC is an immigrant petition. H1 is dual intent so you should be ok. That\'s what I said (\'Yes\') when submitting H1 visa renewal application at St.Louis.
 
I am also in a similar situation.

The form has two questions:
Q 15: Have you ever applied for a U.S "immigrant visa" ? yes/no

Q 26: Has anyone ever filed "Immigrant visa petition" on your behalf ? yes/no

For me, it looks like both the questions corr. to same thing.
If I-485 filed then does that means we need to answer yes to both
the questions ?

Any help/suggestions appreciated.
