I am eligible to apply for citizenship in Mar 2011. Over the past 5 years, i have had around 13-14 trips for work outside US with the longest being 4 months. all others have been 2-3 weeks. These days i am traveling every week to Mexico, leaving every Monday coming back Thu. Is this going to be an issue for citizenship?

It depends on total time you are out of the country. If you consider filing under 5 year rule, you should have spent at least 913 days in US to retain your physical presence. Have you?

Your travel pattern does not seem excessive, but with you spending 4 days out of the country every week nowadays, it is more than half the time away. If it is very recent, it should not be an issue to affect your days count. BTW, officially the travel days are NOT counted as days out of the country so the 4 day absence is only a 2 day absence ... however still the overall pattern will determine any scrutiny on this.

#1. When you worked outside US, I presume the US company kept you on US payroll and then sent you to work for short trips? Any overseas wages not reported in US?
#2. How many days have you spent in US within these 5 years?

for the 5 years, i will have spent around 1200 days in the US. Yes, i have always been on US payroll and haven't had any overseas wages.
