Please advise on Family based GC

Hello,

My uncle (father's brother) is a US citizen. I am a permanent resident since 2001. My father has visitor visa into US. Once my father comes to US, I want to retain him here. What is the best that can be done in this situation?

As you are not a citizen, you canot apply for his AOS.

If your UNCLE (his real brother) applies, it can take some time, but, I am not sure then he can visit US. Maybe Sachin or HOMA can answer this query.

if his brother applies, it will take 12 years. If you wait to be a citizen and then apply - it may take 1-3 years, depending on where you live
