My RFE has come to me directly, not to lawyer.

RFE is regarding missing blood tests. (I am sure we did it)

I need help in understanding following issue.

Should I re-do all the tests? (the doctor who did it has vanished)
Should I reply RFE or send it to lawyer to respond.

Gurus, I need your advice.

That doctor has vanished

The doctor no long practices there. He has taken retirement in to Las Vegas!!!!!!!!

Do you have a copy of your last medical examination?

I think they do HIV blood test. Goto any INS doctor, take the RFE with you and get it done.

Moreover, send the RFE to your lawyer and let him guide you throught his.

Get the blood test done again from another INS designated doctor. ask for a copy. Send it through an attorney if he/she is not charging for this service. Alternatively you can do it yourself becacuse the test results are given in a sealed envelop.just submit as it is to INS with the letter. Good luck!

Thanks

I spoke to attorney, and she said that sometimes they like to do the tests again after 20 months.

My husband is on his away right now to do all the tests. As per attorney, we should not give any chance for new RFE on medical, and keep it current.

Thanks guys, just conversation with buddies like you gives confidence.

Thanks again

I read on this forum medicals are valid until adjudication is complete. There is no expiration date like Finger Print Results. Please double check.

I have never heard of medical tests expiring after 20 months - am sure we'd be seeing a ton of those RFE's if that were the case. Double check with someone else who knows their business.

Actually, this used to be the case. However, BCIS changed its rules sometime last year. I think your lawyer needs to update himself/herself on this.

The new rule is medical exam is valid till 2005

If RFE said it is missing, it doesn't have to be a new exam, result from last one should do...just my opion.

Guys, Thanks for replying

Anyways, the doctor who had done the test had given the envelope sealed, so I do not know what he has done. He has completely vanished from the place he was practicing and I have no track of him. His name still appears on Rajeev's website. I had picked him from this website only.

So I have no idea how to track my old reports. So my husband has done it again. I hope redoing the test might not create problem.
