Please advice on India travel

I am planning to travel to India in last week of july.
I have valid EAD and AP. But no H1 (6 years are over).
Passport stamping is outdated.

Should I expect any trouble in immigration?
Do I need transit visa in Europe?

No trouble (unless your PP has evidence that you have spent time in the US while being out of status).

If you transit thru Amsterdam, then you don't need transit visa. I believe transit thru any other European city requires a transit visa (others can correct me on this).

You do not need any visa on passport when you have AP. Also amsterdam does not require transit visa. London requires a transit visa for sure...not sure of other europian cities..

Year 2003, I went india, At that time my visa was expired, I had EAD and AP(Now also). I went through, Frank. No Trasit Visa Required there.

You can travel with AP without any problem. The transit depends on airlines and the airport. Transit visa requirements changes constantly. check with airlines by directly calling the airlines.

when coming back keep the AP papers handy, every one knows about them.
if you have problems at india airports cause they tell you that you don't have a visa, ask to speak with a supervisor, they know about AP...
