Friends,
I am in a unique situation. Because of lawyers address change we never recieved RFE. This was generated 8 weeks back. Got only 4 weeks to respond. After working on n' different ways. Finally local BCIS office guys helped me a lot. Called Vermont service center, asked them to fax my RFE details. Every thing happened in one-hour time. RFE is about employment letter only. They told me this verbally.

This put me in to another situation.

1)How can I respond with out RFE letter? .

2)My attorney raised another question saying that what if they forgot to mention any documents. Is it fine to send pay stubs along with employment letter (though they not asked) will it leads to any other problem?

If any body handled this kind of situation please help me.

Thanks

On the RFE letter, you will have a unique barcode and identifier that identifies your case. Is it possible for you to get a letter from your local BCIS office?

It definitely wouldn't hurt sending extra documents especially in your case since you don't have original RFE letter.

I would say since you know you've gotten an rfe related to your work, you could easily send the letter, as well as paystubs.

Its not like you're sending them documents without solicitation. I wouldn't send things like tax returns etc., but send everything job related!

Call yr previous lawyer

And check with him if he can fax you the RFE. Better still ask your present lawyer to call .
Best of luck.

Gambler,
I am still with my lawyer ( who started my green card processing). This whole mess happened after he moved to a new location.

Maybe you can send a covering letter as to why you didnt receive the RFE and why you are sending other documents on your own.

It is not my decision. My lawyer is saying what if they have not given me complete RFE details. He is suggesting me to send pay stubs too.
