Hi All,

My EAD application was approved on August 24th as per online message. But still I haven't received physical card. My current EAD ia expiring on Sep 7th.

Can I continue working after Sep 7th even without getting the physical card or do I need to wait to get physical card ?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

You should be getting the cards within about 10 days of approval - you will see another LUD on your case and the message will indicate that the cards have been ordered.

Unfortunately, you cannot work till you get the EAD card.

People have told me that the "valid from" date printed on the EAD card is the approval date and not the date the cards are received. If that is the case, then you should be fine since your card is approved. Physical card in my opinion is needed only for employers to verify your eligibility.
