Just came in mail today. Damn thing comes in a plain white envelop with no address or USCIS Logos besides mine on top. First I thought “oh gosh!! Another credit card” but luckily it was the actual Permanent resident card backdated exactly one year from the date of approval. Man O Man it looks good. Now I am thinking which country should I visit first? Hmmm typical old Canada for testing? :):):)

Wow !! What a great feeling Noman ??? I'm feeling very happy for your GC deal. Now you don't have to wait for no mail nor any LUD changes stuff like that. Just enjoy the freedom as a PR till citizenship. You sure deserve this good time my friend. After all this waiting it's your time now.
Well, mine nothing new yet. Today just turned a whole month after code 1 completed. Still no approval mail yet. But as you mentioned I'm very hopeful something will come up shortly. I keep changing my status 10 times a day just incase something is changed. I always remember your mail about this you just checked your status couple of minutes back before the approval mail but it was still unchanged all in a sudden (few minutes later) received that wonderful mail that we all are waiting for. Man I hope same thing happens to me too along with all others.
Well, have fun my friend. You sure will have a great Thanksgiving & X-mas this year.

I have a very good feeling that your approval is coming before the turkey day and if it does, don't forget to invite me and Lazer to your Turkey dinner. Actually he eats alot so make sure you order a FAT one. Your timeline is pretty much similar to mine so I don't see any reason why you don't get a news soon. Good luck and let me know if i can be further help.

Hey hold it...hold it... Mr Noman. Who told you I eat too much.. Nowadays especially I am on a weight losing spree. NOt that I was over-weight, just bringing body back in shape... :p

Hey congrats man! YOu finally finished your first step i.e. GC I am going to open every envelop (even credit card offers) when I would get my approval... :D

Congratulations Noman!!!! It's time for you to celebrate!! I am very happy to have found this great support group. It's such a good feeling to realize you are not alone but part of a nice crowd of intelligent and warm people! Too bad USCIS doesn't think so..:}:}

Cody, my man thanks. Don't worry your's is also very very close. As Noman said just give a month to 45 days after code 1. It is not my assumption but I'm sure & you must see if I'm right or not. After RFI/BIO code 2 who ever's getting another code 1 regardless its routine 15 months requirement are going to get GC very soon. USCIS are asking only them for a code 1 whom they can process very soon. You know USCIS only received FP fee once from us while we applied our 485 but since they are taking so long to process all cases all these applicants are asked to go do their FP every 15 months. And in order to do that we are not paying ASC anything but there must be some payment arrangements associated here which is obviously done by USCIS. As we all know ASC( Application Support Center) is not USCIS but they are just a individual company who helps USCIS to fulfill their requests.
Therefore in order to eliminate those high dollar expenses USCIS have come to this conclusion that instead of sending all applicants numerous times for FP & waste money rather they will only schedule those applicants for Code 1 after finishing RFI/ code 2 whose case will be processed very soon.
As far routine 15 months FP deal I mentioned that in my earlier posts there are so many people you'll find in this forum who's FP's 15 month time is long due but they are still waiting for one but not receiving that request. So as I said just allow another 30/45 days after code 1 you/me laze we all will be celebrating like our bro Noman. I MEAN IT.Atique.

You are right. One of my friend, though his FP was already passed 17 months, he got no Code 1. Well, he got it today, this is his 18th month after the first FP. So it is good news for him.
