Plastic card

Me and my wife's I-485 got approved oct 2003 and we got stamped in the first week of Nov 2003. Till now not received the
plastic card.

Can anyone throw light on the situation?

Depends on the location where you stamped your passport. There is a thread GC Plastic Card Tracker originated by VijayRC. Check in that thread for your location.
