Folks,

Is there a way to enquire the status of plastic card in case we don't receive them in time ??

I've seens posts saying there are delays in receiving plastic cards if the POE is SFO or LA - Any recent experiences ?? My POE was LA on 12/26/03.

{From SFO it is normally 1 month, which is pretty fast!}

Thanks for your quick response!

I have not received the welcome letter or the plastic card yet. Can we not enquire based on the A# stamped on the passport ?? But even if we can with the A# who should I contact ?

If you have still not received the welcome letter and/ or the cards what you could do is call the TSC @ 800-375-5283 ...provide your A# number and they will provide you with another reference number which in my case starts with SRC so i am assuming it should be the same. Once you get the SRC number you should be able to use the online status system to get more details.

There is someone from houston who entered usa around 29th Dec and he got his welcome letters and physical gc mid last week. So I am guessing your should be on its way!

I agree with KD1403. You need to call them and get the actual case number that starts with SRC.

My was POE procedure was done on Dec. 29, 2003 and I received the cards on Jan. 13, 2004.

If You don't get the welcome letters by next mid-week, then definitely call them
 
Not received them yet folks!

I've decided not to check my mails on a daily basis anymore !!!
Do you guys really think there are reasons for concern if I do not receive at least my welcome letters by this week ?? This will be my 5th week and my POE was LA, FYI.

Would appreciate if you folks could share any other recent experience with LA as POE.
