I-485 approved at the beginning of June.
PP on June 25th at San Jose, CA
Still waiting for the physical card.
Do I need to call INS?
Any guys in the same boat?
 
I guess calling doesnt hurt anyone (no, not even the folks who are waiting for approvals, since the 9-5 IIO doesnt adjudicate during his/her spare time). Just call and act as required; now-a-days plastic cards are taking 2-3 wks.

IIO number

The IIO number for California is (949) 8318427 (customer service number) or other number ?
This number is always busy.

That's the correct number.

Keep dialing..............again..............again.............. again..............again..............again..............again..............again...

You will get through eventually!

Usually it first changes to
"Processing completed .... "
then
"Card ordered ...."

Maybe you can call an IIO.
 
Waiting for plastic card..

I-485 Approval date: 7/23/02
Did stampingg at San Jose INS on 7/29/02

Still AVM says " This case is approved..etc"

Called IIO today, she said my file is still in file room, she asked me
if I did my added FP ( FP done during pp stamping), and that they'll have to match the FP with the one on my file. She told me to call back after 2 months as they are very stacked up now.

Hamm..wonder why many people got it with in 3 weeks, those who stamped last month also, after me.

Hope I get it soon..:confused: :( :eek:

esp. "may added FP(pp stamping)"

everybody has to fp again when pp stamping for card use.
