Plastic Card Wait Period

I am thinking one step ahead and I am sure I am not the only one.

1) Does any one have an idea how long it would take to receive your plastic card after you get your passport stamped?

2) Is there a national center that issues the cards? in other words, do they all come from one center?

3) does the waiting period depend on which state you live in? or even further, the local office you get your passport stamped at?

4) does it come laminated or do i have to pay 50c to get it laminated? lol

oh well, what else can we do besides keeping our hopes up and educating each other!

You should not have asked question 4. ofcourse I have not reached that stages to answer 1 - 3. It is not Green!! in color but you need a pouch to keep it. Once u go to your homecountry please find a leather pouch & pay $1 to embose on it " Fragile & handle with care " because at port of entry they swipe the card......
