Hi Cider:
Did you get anything from them yet? I am also waiting for anything after FP. They are even delaying RTD. Lets hope for the best

Hi Azadindian, how are you? I haven't heard anything yet, I am pretty much posting all these message for my frieds who got their approvals. we are next just sit tigh. man I am checking tha online status 10 times a day :-)

Hey All,

What I'd like to know is who orders the GC once we've completed the I-89 at the local office? Do they use the same LIN #? I mean, can I go and check my status to see if a GC has been ordered for me?

I know its wishful thinking, but I am hoping to get my GC in a few months instead of the 1yr the local office quoted me.

Yes, once the green card is ordered, the status will change to show that a card has been ordered. Once the card is mailed, you will see a status like (you should use the same LIN number):

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On October 7, 2003, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this card, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283

This will be the final status. My process took 2 1/2 months from the time I got stamping to get the plastic card (they also told me one year). My brother took 3 months from stamping to plastic card.

I hope this information helps.

I do not know how a delay in getting your card is going to impact your life. Your stamp is your proof of LPR status.
