Labor approved 01/17/05
I-140 approved 03/28/05
NVC case created 04/08/05
Case sent to consulate 07/07/05
Interview 09/16/05(kingston)
POE Ft.Lauderdale 09/18/05
Card received 10/11/05

Today I received my plastic card (4 weeks after entry). It came along with a welcome letter. However, I had already received exactly same welcome letter 1 week ago. So, basically they welcomed me twice. No complain.

Thanks to so many of you, who spare some of their time to help others (and in this process become an expert :) ).
 
Congrats averma! I too got two welcome letters, and they both arrived on the same day, about 4-5 days before the plastic card if I recall correctly.
 
I recd my welcome letter on Sat and recd my GREEN CARD today.
