Plastic card missing fingerprint. Please help!!

Hi gurus,

My friend received his GC but it is missing the index fingerprint. Any suggestions? The CIS customer service was of no use. They said a new I-90 needs to be filed asap! Will this pose any problems for travel? We are scheduled to travel overseas early next month.

My spouse FP on card is not clear. I had posted this on the citizenship forum and was told that this was a non issue. Of course in your case you say it is not there totally. Post it on the citizenship forum as most of the people will be old GC holders and I am sure someone would have had a similar issue.
