Plastic card delayed

My case status changed online on 24th Aug stating that
"On August 24, 2004, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed ...."

Still haven't received the card though. Is someone in a similar situation?

Stamping on PP - SFO (30th June)
WAC-02-182

You might want to call the service center and check with them. If you have moved or the address of file has not been updated the mail could have gone to the wrong place. 3 weeks is long enough for the mail to get to you.

I haven't moved in the last couple of years. Had received the approval notice at the present address. So makes me wonder, it might not be the address issue.

If you have not put your address on the approval notice at the time of stamping its possible that your card might have been sent to your Attorney. I remember I read few cases where this happened. Check with your Attorney just in case.

As of I know we get the courtesy approval notice which has our address and the original approval notice goes to Attorney and in my case the IIO took both notices and asked us to put our address on original approval notices.

You should get within a week or ten days. We got our cards within a week of status change (card mailed). Usually cards will be sent to applicants. In any case check with your lawyer. Good luck!

haven't received the card yet. The lawyer hasn't received it either.
So called the Service Center and the lady sounded helpful. She gathered all the information and filled out some form while I was still on the call. She said, within 30 days either I should receive the card or a letter stating what's causing the delay.

Hoping this isn't another farce!
