Planning to go to school while 485 is pending

Hi,

I have received EAD for myself and my spouse and my Priority date is Dec 2005. I am the primary applicant. I am planning to go to school full time next fall (2008). If I go to school full time next year and my green card is not approved till that time, my green card process will be cancelled.

I am wondering what are the options for me to be able to continue the green card process ? Does working part time helps ? If I work part time, should I use my H1-B or EAD ?

If I go to school outside US, how do I maintain my green card ? My spouse is currently working on a H1-B.

Have your wife's company sponsor her for GC. You can become the dependent. You'll lose your PD of course.

If you're an EB2 candidate, there's hope of getting GC in the next year or so. Considering postponing school by a year.
