pl reply regarding visitor\'s visa..

Hi,

Anyone\'s relatives entered US after May 10th ? This is after the 30 day public comment period for the new law to allow only 30 days permit at the port of entry in USA..
If so, did they get 30 days/6 months? Your response is really appreciated.

My mom came to USA last weekend and was given a 6 month visa. The officer asked her for how long she was intending to stay and after she told her that she has a 6 month open ticket and she intends to stay for the same period...she was given a 6 month visa with no additional questions asked.

My mother arrived on 10thj May. She got 6 months but after some questioning by the imm. officer. she has been here twice before
