My EB1-OR is pending since may2002, in the mean time I applied for 485 in dec2002 and haveEAD/AP approved. Its over 400 days now for I-140 and no sign. The question I have is, are they going to process-approve both 140-485 together??? rightnow they are processing dec2001case??? anyone knows how BCIS is dealing with the concurrent cases?faster or slower?

thanks

shobhana,

more than 400 days for 140? Which center is this? How many days does receipt copy mention of? U can ask ur attorney or employer to write a letter/check up with BCIS.You cannot call BCIS as it is filed by employer, so only he can ask for status update. I think it has been long overdue.

In concurrent cases also 140 is approved first and then 485 approval comes. In our case (concurrent filing) 140 approval came in a month or so(in Vsc).

My I-140 application was filed from VSC on 23rd May, 2003. I got the I-485 and EAD application I-765 filed from VSC on 2nd December. I got my I-140 approved on May 27, 2003. So I took about 370 days for me to get I-140 approved. I am not surprised given INS history that it is 400 days for you and counting. Anyways, I haven't received my EAD in 7 and half months. Any idea??

Yes..but my street address didn't change only the appartment no because I moved to another appartment in the same appartment complex. But I gave the address with the new appartment no when I gave Finger prints. Any idea what to do now??

---- ---I see the reason of Apartment change, if you have I-140 filing receipt it has EAC# on it and go to BCIS ONLINE check the status. EB1-OR takes more time than EB2 or EB3. Any document from BCIS is only to be sent on the address that BCIS has and that mail cannot be forwarded
1 Fill up new address change forms AR11 send it to proper address
2 Send letter to BCIS office for change of address, provide past and new address (even if APT# changed) write clearly on the envelope out side in Bold” Address change” provide your complete name, DOB, A # that is on your I-485 filing receipt
3 call up NCSC and provide your correct address
