PIO at CGI Houston

Hello all.

I sent my PIO application to CGI Houston exactly a month ago, but no word as of today. They do not pick up the phone. Did anybody experience similar delay? Thank you.

I do not have PIO experience but for OCI, they take 7+ weeks to ack the app so it is possible for PIO is also slow.

After visa services were outsourced, they have slowed down to a crawl. I don't know how !! It should have been opposite!!

I am in the same situation. The PIO application for my son was received on March 12th. It is nearly 6 weeks; but I have not received the card. Multiple emails / phone calls have not yielded any results.

Any idea what can be done to get more information? We are leaving for India next month, and need the PIO card.
