Since I am in a hurry to go to India with in next 45 days, I am going to apply for PIO instead of OCI. I recently got naturalized as a US citizen (of course, an Indian citizen before that)
One question on the PIO application process. They are asking for proof of permanent address in India per Indian Passport. Can somebody give some examples of this? I don't understand what else they would need other than the Indian Passport (if the address hasn't changed). Sounds redundant.
Anybody who can shed light on this?
