Picture requirements for Citizenship

My question is related to picture we need to send with N400 form for citizenship. I read at one place in the immigration guide, eye glasses were not allowed, is that true?
Also Ritz camera in VA told me the requirement for picture was changed from the side picture to a front picture like the one we take for passport.
Will appreciate your feedback
Thanks

I believe that is true.

Ritz Camera is correct. The requirement for photos has changed to a typical passport-type picture. See:

eye glasses!

The picture I sent just early this week with my N400 application is with eye glasses on! What should I do? Would they request for new pictures that I can re-send? Or is it rectified at intrview time?

I some how missed that clause!
Thanks.

You can always new photos with you to the interview. However, I just saw this in the guidelines for passport photos on the travel.state.gov FAQ on passport photos:

Can eyeglasses be worn for the photo?
Eyeglasses worn on a daily basis can be worn for the photo. However, there should be no reflections from the eyeglasses that obscures the eyes.
