Hello guys,

I was interviewed by an immigration officer and they asked me to send them "proof of physical presense in the US". I didn't work during the times I was in US, so what can I present apart from school/work? I am a US Green Card holder.

Thank you,
Leo

I was living with my parents, so none were really on my name. The only thing I can think of can be some bank statement. Is there any other way I can show them that I was present in US. I mean they can't just assume that I was not if I can't provide them with the type of document they want.

Thanks for a very quick reply

Here is the deal, they want to know if I was present in US between 1997 and 2000.

Right now I am in canada studying full time, in fact that's what I am doing since 2001. I found a nothwest itenarary that clearly shows me leaving LA on 30dec 2000 and coming back to LA Jan 29th 2001, should this be one of the proof?

Thanks,
Jimmy

See the thing is, I had bad credit in US, that was the whole point is me completing my studies in Canada and so I never actually used any credit cards.

I do have a lot of airlmiles cards , I tried to call them up but they can trace flight details that far back. They only can pull up last 6 months. And also, I used TWA airlines when I used to travel, but my luck they are out of service.

Which leaves me with 1 flight itenanry I have. I already told the immigration officer, I had a bad credit, and I live with my parents. So I am really confused to what I should present as a solid ground that I was in US which I was..

Appreciate your help,
Jimmy
