On the USCIS’s website, I read that you must satisfy (among other) the following requirements to apply for citizenship:
---Physical Presence: 18 months (for green card holders through marriage) or 36 months (for others).
---Continuous Residence: no trips lasting over 1 year (unless a new visa is issued)
Am I understanding it correctly: you have to be present in the US for at least 50% of the time (3 years for married people to US citizens)?
Are you keeping track of all of you trips? Can anyone provide additional information regarding this. I will be taking numerous trips oversees so I want to make sure I understand the requirements well.
Thank you so much!
