Phyical green card but no I 485 approval

I got an email that said I 485 was approved on 4/18, got a plastic green card on 4/20.I have not rcvd the I485 approval notice no welcome notice.
So do I need the I485 approval notice or green card is good enough for future uses.

Also my LUD only says I 485 approved. so what is the deal how does this work.
