The four photos required 2 for medicals and 2 take to the embassy should they be identical or you can take 2 different ones for medical and 2 different ones to the embassy but with the required specifications..
 
Does it matter? Just get your picture taken and ask them to make 4-6 copies. This is a very small detail that is not that important. As long the picture is a current picture of you and it meets the required specification.

yes, it does matter.

I just came from the interview, and I had initially made 4 photos, but the 2nd NL requires 5 in the instructions, so we took a new 5 set with us to the interview, and the officer switched the ones in the medical package with our new set of 5 pics.

Thanks for your replies. That's what i thought it would be better to take all the same photos. I had asked that because i have two ready ones which i can take for the medicals and then take more for the interviews when i remove my hairdo because i still have like a month for the interview.. it might sound like a funny question but i just wanted to make sure.
