I am to apply for N-400 in next few days, was checking with the specifications in the application form, it looked similar like green card.

But when I went to the studio they mentioned that now we need to send them passport photo's instead since august 2004.

Can someone tell me what are the requirements for the photo with N-400 form currently

Second question :

Can I send my wife application and mine in the same packet.

thanks

The studio is correct. You need to send full frontal color photographs.

Regarding sending the applications together (yours + wife), it is not at all a problem. My wife and I sent the applications together, FP'd together, and we were interviewed together (same time but different officers). We are scheduled for oath ceremony in 2 weeks together. If you have kids, you need to find someone to take care of them during FP, Interview and oath. If you don't have reliable help, then send 3 weeks apart!. If you don't have kids, then it is a great idea!
