photos for medicals at chennai - please help asap!

guys,

I will be going to lister labs before taking the immigration style (whatever is the current style) photos. I believe we need to stick a picture in the appl form at lister labs. Can I use one of my existing photos - a 2" X 2" that does not confom to the immigration style pictures' details given on the consulate website?

The requirement for the medical form is the regular (2" x 2") passport
style photograph. I don't think this has changed in the last 1 year.

If it has, then someone will comment.

Hey Dilbert,

I would recommend using something smaller than 2" x 2". That is to fit the space provided on the lister form and finally on the Medical Report. 2" x 2" kind of overlaps text on medical report.

I just got 4 pix (passport style) for Rs. 150 at the Kodak (Nungambakam High Road). used one for Lister, one for medical report. And carried the rest to interview.

You may as well use some old pix if the appearance hasn't changed much.

i have some recent 2"X2" picture that i will use at lister. only after doing lister, I am planning to go for photographs. SO, i will take the new picture to the doctor for medical report. hope this will be ok

Medicals 5 days before interview

I am going to Chennai on 18th October.i will land on 20th morning .

Can i go to lister labs in the evening or we have to go in early morning only.

In the evening if i go to Labs when can i expect my report.

can i go to meet doctor on 21st october.

why i am asking this because my interview is on October 27th.

Is it ok if we get medical reports 5 days before Interview date.

please suggest.

{I assume it would be OK to go in the evening. However this can be better
confirmed by someone who went in the evening. You can also call them
at the phone number : 282 78971 , 282 34429 (hope these are still
current) and find out}

Not sure if you can go to the lab in the evening. Even if you go in the evening, they might not give you the reports back to you until the next day evening(after 5pm). If thats the case you can may not be able to see the doctor on the same day. Which means that you will see the doctor on the third day after taking the lab tests.

An idea is that you could take an appointment with the doctor for the second day evening and you can pick up the reports and go see the doctor on the same day.
