Photographs with earings...

got the photographs taken recently to file with my N-400. They are frontal, colored photographs according to the new standards. However, I am wearing earings. Is that a problem?

Also, should speeding tickets be specified in the section of the N-400 that asks if one has ever been cited by an officer?

Depends , are you a man or a woman , if you're a man on what ear . its very important stuff ..... nah only kidding , when you go for the interview you can take another pair of photos with you if you dont wanna have your certificate with your earings
Peace :D

I am a woman but I do not really care whether my pic is with earings or not. The INS at one time did not want pictures with earings. What I wanted to know was whether INS still has that requirement.

PLease get another pair of photos with ear rings

If I were in your situation, I will get another pair of pictures from Costco, costs less thas $5. You are right. INS one time wanted photos without ear rings. I am not sure what the current situation is. As a safe bet, my spouse and mother both had pictures with out ear rings for their USCIS work.. Hope it helps.

I took pictures of my wife for the citizenship application at home. She was wearing earrings and there was no problem with her application. Also, please look at the following document which describes the standard for photos required for both immigration as well as passports. All the women shown in sample photos there are wearing earrings. So don't worry...

Yes, it is preferable that you list the speeding tickets in the N-400 application. But if you haven't, you can just mention them at the interview.
