I got my I485 approved last Friday. Scheduled appointment for ADIT stamping is on Aug 31st in San Francisco. My lawyer has asked me to take passport style front facing photgraphs in lieu of the old style side facing ones. Has anybody taken the passport style photos for the ADIT stamping? Any comments will be greatly appreciated. BTW San Francisco is switching over to appointments via internet pretty soon (already accepting). One can get an appointment from: http://infopass.uscis.gov.

Your lawyer is accurate. PP style photos will be the format from Sep 1 onwards. Currently SFO is accepting ADIT type photos as well as PP style. Go with your lawyers recommendation. You can research this at www.cis.gov on the home page itself.

I got my stamping done yesterday in San Francisco, you won't have any issue with new PP style. Infact I was asked if I have brought the PP style which luckily I had brought. And also there was a notice on the window which said Aug4th and not Sept 1st for the new style to be acceptable.Quake said:I got my I485 approved last Friday.
