Photographs and A#

Hi All
 I have 2 questions:
  1) Do you need to wear glassess for the Immigration photograph, if you wear them regularly?
  2) What is this A#? Does everyone has it? I have searched everywhere on my passport, I-94 and I-140 approval but could not find it anywhere.

 Any help will be appreciated.

If you wear glasses regularly, you can wear them for your photographs. There is, however, no such rule.

A# stands for alien number. You get an A# assigned to you after you file for adjustment of status. You can find on the i-485 receipt and also on the EAD card.

I wore glasses for my I485 pictures. Though the photographer asked me to take \'em off. But I wear glasses regularly and I insisted on wearing for the pix too.
Leave out A# field in I485 application. You\'ll be assigned an A# and your I485 receipt will have this number.
