Is it safe to photocopy a green card?

I wonder if there's anything emitted from the copier (ie., light etc.) that could harm the data stored on the card.

Buy an expensive digital camera.
Take couple of pictures of your green card.
Go to 1 hour photo.
print the picture.

Eeeeeeeeeee. Just another tip to keep your Green Card fresh.
