Photo specification for 485 passport stamp

All,
I got my 485 approved in August and will go to stamp my passport next week. When I went to take the photos today, the guy in Walgreens told me that the photo specification has been changed since 09/01/2004 and now USCIS needs the picture of front view of your face, not the picture of the right side of your face. Anybody got passport stamped recently please clarify this.

Everyone must use the front view pictures even thought the approval notice may still say ADIT style pictures.
