Photo question

Is INS really strict with photos? The distance from the top of my head to below the chin is a little bit (about 1mm) over 1 and 1/4 inchs. Would this be a problem?

They are picky

I got an RFE for my EAD. They said there were shadows around my face. They are a little picky. Go to Kinkos or try some place near the INS office. Those guys usually have the specifications and know what to do.

Get a receipt from the photographer and tell him/her that if INS

rejects the photos then you will be refunded/ another photo free.
Photographers who donot accept this probably may not take proper ADIT photos.

How much they charge for the photos

I understand they charge like 10 bucks for two photographs, so if you have 2 dependents you need total 18 photographs, 90 bucks just for the photographs. That \'s way too much. Can any one tell if there is another way which is not so expensive. like taking photographs by ourself.....

No Title

If you want to get an RFE, then take it by yourself. I donot know where you live, but in Newark NJ near the INS office they charge $2.50 a photo with a minimum of 4 photos per person.
