photo and dpi

a photographer scanned me a photo; and it looks ok, 600*600, jpeg, 24bit color my question is:
how can i know that the resolution is at least 150dpi or 300 dpi
how can i verify it ?

Write click the file (picture) and go to Properties -> click Summary Tab
If you see a button "Advanced" click it and you'll get information about the picture like:
- Width and Height in pixels
- Horizontal and Vertical Resolution in dpi
- Bit Depth
etc...
