Phone number for INS to check the status?

Hi all,
I've tried calling the INS umpteen times to get the status of my 485 appln and I'm unable to get thro'. The line is always busy. What is the best time to call the ins? Any specific number where I can get through to check the status?

Anyone with the WAC 02-109-xxxxx approved?
 
Best time to call INS

Hi,

The best time to call INS is after 6.30 pm in the evening. I can get through the line during that time after couple of tries.
