Phoenix Passport Stamping Experiences

Hello

I need to go to the Phoenix INS office for my passport stamping. Can anyone who has recenlty been to the Phoenix office for passport stamping post their experience. I am essentially looking for information on

- Is it first come first serve basis of do we need to stand in line
- If we have to stand in line how long did it take you
- I heard in the past one was give a date to come back is this the practice still
- Any additional Documentation requirements other than
Passport, I-94,
Approval notice,
2 INS style photos, all your AP papers & EAD card

Any details would be grealty appreciated

sorry chand. I am still waiting for my approval. so do not have any PP stamping experience to sare.
but when i had gone to phx office for iead, i saw some one with 485 approval use the appointment line. i do not know if they had appointments or used the approval as appointment.
can you please post your details - rd, nd, fp etc.

Arrived 6.05 am Monday May 12, 2003 - about 40 people ahead on us
6.45 am - ID was checked & people were let in
7.00 am - Counters opened & Numbers issued based on the type of application
8.30 am - Was called to the counter, Documents checked "Approval form, 2 photos, Fingerprints taken" 30 minutes to process 2 applications
9.00 am - Out of the office
