Phoenix INS -please post your experience

after 6 yrs of wait,we received approval notice we have to go to Phoenix ins office for pp stamping,we appreciate if any one tell us about their experience and how early we have to be there?
my case pd 03/97 RD 01/00 issued RFE in nov.01 never received copy got in dec.01 fedex on 12th dec. ins lost it,fax reciept twice with case detail
iio called me on 31st jan 02 told me to fax copies of rfe papers and approved on 1stfeb 02 got the notice today

I was told one can go at say 6 am and get the stamp done by 8.30 am .

Alternativly you could take a appointment and get the stamp on that scheduled appointment day

go there around 12:00 p.m. if you don\'t want to wake up early

I heard that you can go there by 12:00 p.m. and can still get the appointment schedule. (if you can wait another 2 weeks for stamping)
The reason is that it is possible that you won\'t get the stamping that day if there are too many people in line.
Actually one of my friends had to go to local INS
so many times for their temporary EAD. What she suggested was to go there by 12:00 pm. so you don\'t have to waste your whole morning.
