Last week, we went to get my passport stamped at the INS office in Philadelphia. We got our photo taken at one of the photo truck outside the building, the cost was reasonable, $10 for 2 photos. The office opened at 08:30, I would advice you to reach there by = 08:00 (07:00 is way too early) by coming 30 mins early, you should be able to get your passport stamped by 9:00-9:30 (did that when I renewed my EAD, 3rd in line). We made a mistake by coming at 08:45, by the time we went to locket #5, i.e. to get the number, we were the 20th and 21st person in line, we completed the finger printing process at 12:00, the clerk was very helpful, courteous and pleasant, told us to expect out GC in about 6-12 months. She took our finger prints, took our EAD cards, I-94 and asked for the advance parole copies which I didn\'t bring. Told her that, I didn\'t have them w/ me and they have expired months ago anyway, she said,"It\'s OK, no problem." ........Passport stamped

It\'s a good feeling, I don\'t have to worry about deportation no more.......Free at last (my H-1 6 years limit expired on 08/15/00)
Good luck to you, by the way, don\'t forget to bring lots of quarters for parking meter. You can park right outside the building, on the street.
