philadelphia vs san francisco

Hi there!
I am marrried to USC and about to apply for AOS.
In a couple of weeks we're moving from Philadelphia to SF and I am not sure what to do. I hear rumours that it takes much longer to process case in California than almost anywhere else, although timelines posted on this forum do not support this. Can anybody comment on this? And what is the best way to do it:
a) Apply now while still in Philly and come back here for fingerprints and interview
b) Apply now and then request to transfer my case to SF ( my guess is that's the worst )
c) Move there first and then aplly

Thank you!

Go for the option #3, don't complicate your existence for no reason.

Suzy is right.
By the way, I didn't wait for very long in SF. The whole process of applying, processing and geting GC via US Postal Service took me 6 months. But then, it was 3 years ago... From what I've heard though, it's not bad at all timewise. Again, everything depends on specific case.

Cali is pretty fast as you can see from actual timelines here on this forum

a) Apply now while still in Philly and come back here for fingerprints and interview
Not if you dont care paying for airfare for FP/Bio and again for the interview. What if you had to go for an infopass appt in philly? iEAD??

b) Apply now and then request to transfer my case to SF ( my guess is that's the worst )
The favorite part of USCIS is to lose someone's file. I guess you dont wish to be that someone ;)

c) Move there first and then aplly
I like this one. Saves a lot of hassle. plus cali is faster.
