Petition for brother.

Hello everyone. I wish I found this forum a long time ago!
My name is Marinov and I live in NY state. I had a couple of questions. I'm soon to become US citizen and I wish to petition for my brother to become a permanent resident in the US. He is a Bulgarian citizen, and is currently a student in Heidelberg, Germany. My first question is: How long does the process take for brother and/or sister? Is it true that it may take up to 10 years? My second question is: Could there be any special conditions or restrictions due to him being disabled? Thank you very much in advance.

Ritht now, application submitted in Jan 96 is being processed. Unfortunately, at the current processing speed, it will take about 10 years.
I don't think disability will be a problem to apply for GC, but you need to be able to support him financially as you are the sponsor.
